GB News are recruiting for a Videographer to join the team in London.

GB News is Britain’s News Channel providing news, debate and opinion for all of the UK. The Videographer role is an essential position within the Creative team and will report to the Promos Director. A self-starter, you’re a diligent professional motivated to drive a project from brief to delivery. A visual storyteller and self-shooter, you are creative and keen to adopt and learn new technologies in order to produce excellent work, turning around short-form promo-style production for news and talk-show programming. Thriving under pressure, you flag potential obstacles early and communicate with ease and clarity. You are personable, autonomous, and confident operating by yourself with hybrid stills/video cameras and the Adobe suite. Most of all, you are passionate about making great content.

Past work in fast-paced environments, such as creative agencies, freelancing, or broadcast television is desirable. Training in cinematography, video editing, and/or post-production, as well as hybrid videography and photography skills are an advantage.

Key responsibilities and main tasks:

• Camera and lighting: setting up a shot, maintaining script continuity and directing          talent
• Editing: working in the Adobe Creative Suite as well as adopting new tools to                 deliver high-quality content
• Flexibility and drive: contributing to the team in a proactive way, accommodating           fast turnarounds and complementing other colleagues’ skill sets
• Passionate communicator: juggling multiple projects and deliverables in a diligent         and outgoing manner, with an ability to raise and resolve challenges along the way
• Other appropriate duties as required.
