About the Role
GB News is seeking an ambitious and well-connected Bookings Producer to join our team for The Late Show Live, our nightly current affairs programme broadcast from Washington, D.C. at 7pm ET (midnight in the UK). This is a rare opportunity to shape a fast-paced primetime show, securing high-profile guests and setting the agenda on both sides of the Atlantic.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source, pitch, and secure a diverse range of live and pre-recorded guests for nightly programmes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with political figures, commentators, academics, journalists, cultural voices, and newsmakers across the US and UK.
• React quickly to breaking news, ensuring timely guest bookings and panel discussions that drive the conversation.
• Work closely with the Editor, Presenter, and Editorial team to identify relevant topics and shape the editorial direction of the programme.
• Manage the logistics of guest appearances, including pre-interviews, briefings, and coordinating remote or in-studio contributions.
• Stay on top of the news cycle, providing insight into emerging stories and potential contributors.
• Uphold GB News’s values of open debate, free expression, and engaging conversation.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in guest booking, journalism, or television production (preferably within live news or current affairs).
• A strong contacts book across US politics, culture, and media is highly desirable.
• Excellent news judgment with the ability to spot compelling guests and angles.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings in line with the show’s broadcast time.
